On the second day of the 26th China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE), the exhibition venue remained buzzing with attendees. Hangzhou Hyperspectral Imaging Technology Co., Ltd. (HHIT) made a brilliant appearance at this expo in the form of "dual-booth synergy": in addition to its booths (6C05-6C06) in Hall 6, HHIT also joined hands with UCAS Hangzhou Advanced Research Institute (UCAS-HARI) to appear at UCAS-HARI’s Area 6A59. This Two-Way Empowerment has become a striking highlight of the expo.
Behind this dual-booth collaboration lies the close industry-academia-research collaboration between HHIT and UCAS-HARI. Dr. Pan Mingzhong, founder of HHIT, holds a Ph.D. in Circuits and Systems from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) and currently serves as a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, UCAS-HARI. This profound connection has enabled the two parties to form an efficient closed-loop synergy in technology R&D, talent cultivation, and achievement transformation.
At UCAS-HARI’s Area 6A59, HHIT’s self-developed products were highlighted, including hyperspectral cameras, microscopic hyperspectral imagers, and intelligent hyperspectral remote sensing systems with drone nest integration. This joint participation with UCAS-HARI marks a key practice for HHIT to advance in-depth industry-academia-research integration. Through CIOE—an international platform—HHIT aims not only to showcase its products but also to demonstrate a complete pathway from academic innovation to industrial application, and to join hands with industry peers to advance the progress and industrialization of hyperspectral technology.
